Prevalence according to age bands

The figures are not fully comparable on a scientific basis, but give a good indication of the prevalence of Parkinson’s according to age bands in the different countries.

An example on how to read the figures:

ITALY

For people between the ages of 35–44, 6.7 people per 100,000 population are affected by Parkinson’s.  In the 45–54 age group, 49.1 people per 100,000 are affected.
